It is with great pleasure that we inform you of your victory at the Canadian International Indie Film Critics Awards 2025!
After evaluating over 15,000 projects from every continent, the team of critics has selected the winners for the 2025 edition.
It has been a long evaluation process, but it has made us realize that independent cinema has definitively surpassed Hollywood’s film industry in terms of quality and originality. As the great director Francis Ford Coppola recently stated, Hollywood is increasingly becoming an industry that produces films like Coca-Cola cans in a factory.
For us, however, Cinema is an Art that serves to deeply analyze dreams, hopes, and civil rights.
This is why we believe a filmmaker also plays an incredibly important social role.
